Changing Ecosystems: A Third Grade Unit Part 2

Objective 1 of this unit is now available! This objective covers Next Generation Science Standard 3-LS2-1.

This objective includes:

  • 3 lesson plans,

  • 5 stories (about 200-300 words each) about different animal groups: Meerkats, dolphins, elephants, ants, and crows,

  • 6 activity sheets to accompany the stories: Make a poster, act out an animal group, compare 2 animal groups, match the animal to the fact, and respond to the prompt "Why do some animals live in groups?".
